A Passion for the Science and Art of Dentistry

Dr. Barbara Wetmore was born and raised in Brevard County. All through high school she worked in her mother’s dental office in Rockledge Florida. Dr. Barbara Wetmore graduated from Merritt Island high school as the Varsity swim team captain. Since graduating dental school, she has been practicing dentistry solely in Brevard County. Although she greatly enjoys every aspect of cosmetic dentistry, what provides her with the most satisfaction is helping patients build new smiles, regain function and renew their confidence through her work. She takes pride in providing low pain, gentle, calming dentistry, in a spa-like environment with blankets, pillows, heated massaging dental chairs. She has created a small, intimate office, where she takes the time to listen, explain procedures in depth and answer all questions a patient may have.

Dentistry is Dr. Barbara Wetmore’s passion. After realizing she was able to apply her artistic eye to skill sets besides general dentistry, she decided to become certified to offer facial rejuvenation treatments like Botox® and dermal fillers, in order to truly offer comprehensive cosmetic care. Now, she’s able to help patients reach a healthy smile and a confident look all in the same relaxing office.

Dr. Barbara currently lives in Rockledge, Florida with her husband Mike. She finds her greatest joy to be her growing family. She has a beautiful 8 year old daughter who loves art, a 7 year old son who loves to fish, and a 3 year old son who will probably be a comedian! The family spends lots of time outside swimming and gardening.

● Accepted into the Honors Prosthodontic Program, which only accepts 4 students out of 130.
● Attended several courses in Implantology to stay abreast of this exciting and rapidly evolving dental field.

Dr. Justin Lieneck, DMD

Personalized and honest quality dental care

Dr. Justin Lieneck has called Brevard County home since moving to Merritt Island as a child in 1996. He loves living on the Space Coast, making sure to include on his schedule any upcoming rocket launches!

Dr. Lieneck enjoys providing personalized and honest quality dental care for the Space Coast. His wife and he actively support the local community in a variety of ways. Outside of the office, his interests include traveling, golfing, SCUBA diving, and almost anything that involves being out in the sun and in the water.

Education

Dr. Lieneck studied at the University of South Florida (Tampa). He returns to Tampa regularly to visit and attend the USF Bulls football games. Dr. Lieneck earned his doctorate degree in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale) and then promptly moved back to Brevard County. Highlightable experiences from school were working for the student mentorship program and participating in dental outreach programs for impoverished communities in a variety of capacities.

Dr. Lieneck participates in continuing education courses regularly keeping current with the latest advances in General and Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a fervent believer in preventive and conservative dentistry. As a General Dentist, Dr. Lieneck’s priority is to provide the most compassionate dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

Seriously the most kind, caring, thorough dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Wetmore was kind and attentive to my anxiety while at the same time making sure I was comfortable through a long drilling for a crown and very thorough making sure I was numb enough and the bite would be just right. I struggle with self care and this is the first dentist in my life where I wasn't shamed for it. And even though I was scared for the procedure I felt so safe here. Awesome place! The front desk staff, hygienist I saw and assistants were all super skilled and amazing too. Thanks ladies!

Sunflower Dental Spa is for me the FIRST Dental Office that I enjoy going to. I walk in and I am greeted by, 3 Wonderful Ladies with Beautiful Smiles. And even though they know that I can never remember their names, they know mine.
Rachel, my Dental Hygienist, took me back to begin my cleaning... Well at my last cleaning, I misunderstood something that she told me... so this time I asked her to please show me... and she did.
Once Rachel finished, she went and told my Wonderful and Most Excellent Dentist, Dr. Justin Lieneck that it was his turn to come in and check out my teeth. As Justin is checking out my teeth, I asked him, "Do the look okay? You are taking an awfully long time..."
Justin said, "I'm checking each one of them...but I don't see cavities." That isn't exactly what he said, but I can't remember word for word, like I used too.
But if you are looking for a place to go that will take care of your Teeth.... I Highly recommend Sunflower Dental Spa 🌻

The entire staff adds value to this practice. There’s a good energy there, with both the doctors and all of the medical assistants & the front office. And most importantly they do great work. I am happy to have found Sunflower Dental Spa.

Sunflower Dental Spa is the best office in town, hands down! The front desk staff is so welcoming and kind. They’re great at explaining out of pocket expenses vs. dental insurance. They do their best to squeeze you in at any given notice. You could be having the worst day and those ladies sure do know how to put a smile on your face!

It’s hard to put my appreciation into words. Dr. Wetmore and her staff were so helpful and welcoming. They were able to work with my insurance and I to go from consultation to surgery in less than a month, and for half the price I was quoted from Aspen. I was very nervous going into the surgery and amount of extractions I needed but was put at ease with all of the commendations they offered. I highly recommended the laughing gas for anyone that feels the same way. The entire surgery was painless, completely painless and took about two hours. It’s now one day post op and other than some soreness I have never felt better. Sunflower dental deserves all the praise they get in these reviews. Truly an amazing experience. I am so grateful.
